A Letter from the Owner of KaZoonga.NET

Welcome, and thank you for visiting KaZoonga. 

When I became interested in web site design, the first thing I did was to buy Building Web Sites for Dummies by Doug Sahlin and Claudia Snell.  At the time, I had already been working with computers and networks for fourteen years, and had purchased plenty of those large computer reference books with hundreds of pages in them.  Despite the best of intentions, I had never finished a single one of them. That was until I eagerly read through Doug and Claudia’s book.  Of course I knew well before I’d finished the book that web design was the field for me.

My initial interest in web design was just so I could update my own business website.  But I was so drawn to it that I immediately began to wonder if this was a service I could offer to clients.  I knew there were already plenty of web designers out there, so I had to wonder how much room there was for one more.

It didn’t take long to confirm that there was plenty of room.  In any industry, there are the companies that sell a high-quality product at a high price, and those that sell an ‘economy’ product at a much lower price.  Avantek Services – KaZoonga’s parent company – had succeeded for several years at selling high-quality IT services and solutions at the ‘economy’ price. 

We had developed several process and project management techniques for Avantek to make this possible.  And by applying those same practices to a company focused on web-design, we could easily offer outstanding, high quality websites at the lower price.  Thus I present you with KaZoonga.NET.
